KASNEB News: Important Notice To All Students

As part of its continued efforts to improve efficiency, Kasneb has announced that it’s going to be releasing its latest batch of certificates to students across its numerous exams. According to a bulletin issued through its official KASNEB news page on the website and social media platforms, the popular examination body requests students who sat for the May 2018 KASNEB exams to make arrangements to collect their certificates from its offices at KASNEB towers.

The mass issue is scheduled to start on  Monday, 14th January 2019 and will end on Saturday, 19th January 2019 beginning at 9.00 a.m. and up to 3.00 p.m. daily.

Available certificates are for those who recorded a pass in the May 2018 KASNEB results for the various Diplomas and the professional levels (Parts I, II & III) for the CPA, CS, CICT, and their other professional exams.

Here is why you should go for your certificates:

Since 2018, KASNEB has been charging shs.100 as certificate storage charge per month that a ready certificate remains uncollected.

These penalties have been accumulating for the past couple of months with the amount standing at shs.400 for each certificate held as of the end of December 2018.

Well, the Sh.100 surcharge for the mentioned 2018 certificates that will remain uncollected comes into force from Monday, the 21 of January 2019.

This means that any students going for the certificates later will have to clear the total incurred fines before being allowed to pick their documents.

Requirements

You must carry your National ID or KASNEB Student ID card for identification purposes.

Other Ways You Can Access Your KASNEB Certificates

KASNEB students who can’t make it to KASNEB towers on the appointed dates because of job or other commitments can still access their certificates through the post office.

You must, however, write an official letter to KASNEB requesting them to post your certificate. The letter should be accompanied with a clear copy of your national ID card.

Alternatively, one can send the certificate postage request via email rather than post office to certificates@kasneb.or.ke
